Recovery Centres
A Recovery Centre offers more than just support in applying for financial assistance, it’s also a place where affected people can share their concerns with people who understand what you’re going through.
The Snowy Monaro Business and Recovery Hub in Cooma, connects businesses and community to support services to assist in their recovery journey.
The initiative is a one-stop shop to assist the bushfire impacted residents and the growing number of established and aspiring local business-people looking for support, services and information in the region.
It has been a challenging time for our community and businesses, the Business and Recovery Hub is another step in support of the economic and social recovery of our Snowy Monaro region.
Through the shopfront the community and businesses alike now have easier access to the wide range of support services offered by both Council and other community agencies.
The Business and Recovery Hub, located at 57 Vale Street, Cooma is open Tuesday – Thursday 10.00am – 3.00pm, and is supported by funding from the state and federal governments’ Bushfire Community Recovery and Resilience Fund.
The Business and Recovery Hub will be regularly attended by business support services including Business Connect, Small Business support, community support services, along with Council’s Community Recovery Officers.
There’s support for individuals, businesses, farmers and landholders.
